Yes, you read that right! We actually 1) had company (which we never do),2)used this tablescape and 3) actually SAT at the table! It was my nephew's birthday and my sister,
Tammy had to go out of town, so she asked me if I would do the cake thing for him. I said sure and then decided to have him and his brothers and a friend of his for dinner. So, I had the 4 of them, my son (Baby Boy or BB)and my husband- talk about out numbered! Anyway, I served baked chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy, brocolli and homemade rolls.(I would also like to share that I finally have made good mashed potatoes, twice now- I was having a problem for awhile!)It was pretty good I must say. So here are the "before" pics.
The cake! June is a very busy birthday month for our family- hubby, me, Lil Mama, my 2 late grandmas, the nephew we had this cake for and another nephew share the same birthday! Happy Birthday to all of us!
