Out and about with Miss Mac

I took Miss Mac (AKA my new Mac Daddy camera) out a few times over the weekend and then finally to JR's today- sorry there are so many of JR, but I had a great time playing with the settings on my camera and he is one of my favorite subjects.

We visited a couple Farmer's Markets in our area

This is a live person acting as a statue- pretty interesting. The "little girl" is a doll- umm, a real doll not a real girl. ;~)

I am trying pretty hard to become vegetarian/veganish and I had this for lunch- funky looking but delicious! Portabella mushrooms and tomatoes with carmelized onions and feta (that I didn't eat) and cole slaw, which I did.

Quite by surprise,we met up with our Nephew and his wife along with our great nephew and great niece.

Her lips got blue from the Italian Ice.

One time our little niece here called my hubs "the Uncle who loves me". Hubs is a real kid whisperer. He loves it!

Now don't laugh too hard, but I took this on my daughter's street, from the car!

and this one too-

JR loves playing with his trucks and trains on the floor.

He was ready to go outside!!

Playing with his water table.

He doesn't have enough toys so he was playing with empty water bottles.

I was practicing really hard to get the background blurred-

Ok, ok, you know you can't stop looking at your grandkids pictures either!

I just happened to snap a pic of his tootsies- couldn't resist!
he was chasing bubbles in this one too, but no bubbles made it in the picture- oh, wait, there is a tiny one- you see it??
What's cooking, Bubba? (that is what I called my son when he was little too!)

I had a lot of fun! This camera is awesome!!! I am so thankful I was able to get it!

Babies R Nana!

Today Little Mama decided to do her baby registry at Babies R Us. So, Nana was needed to steer the stroller. We pulled in to this space:

Little Mama was so excited to park in the specialty spot! (She was a bit distressed that the Mall parking lot took away their expectant spots!)
It was a lot of fun looking at all the girly stuff! I told her it seemed funny to look at girls clothes and she said, "Yeah, it is awesome!"

Little Mama had the scanner power!

The tutus are tuu much!

JR fell asleep just about as soon as we got there and when he woke up he needed a little snack and his mommy's water. He was so good for the almost 3 hours that we were there!

"I love Mommy" complete with elephant (JR's fav!).

After the BRU trip we went to our favorite Chick Fil-A (aka Chicky). Nana was successful in her self portrait attempt that she usually fails miserably at. That is a cheek full of french fries on JR not me though!

Nana enjoyed some really nice snuggly time with JR.

Not to mention actually having a good collection of Nana pictures for once! I think this one below is going to be my new header picture.

We sat next to the window to the play area and JR had a blast watching the kids and talking to the little boy behind us.

A good time was had by all, especially Nana!

Our little Punkin's time at the Pumpkin Patch!

In the Fall, it has become our tradition to take JR to the Pumpkin Patch- mostly for pictures of course, but we did make a few purchases also! Grampy and I got to the patch first, so I had to take a few prep pictures (you know, checking the lighting, etc!)

I love pumpkins and they just make the cutest subject photographically speaking!

The ugly duckling pumpkin...

A witch went by and cast an evil spell on this one apparently...

I love the looong stems on the pumpkins, don't you?

Now this pumpkin is a cutie!!

My SIL came along this year, since we went on a Saturday! Yay!

Check out the cute face on little JR!

Nana (Yay! I got in one!) and Grampy with the cutest pumpkin in the patch!

Grampy helping pick out a pumpkin for JR's front porch.

Who needs orange pumpkins when you have this?

Aww!

Grampy and Little Mama!

Ya know- JR should be used to the camera by now!

JR didn't like the odd looking ghourd!

When we got back to JR's house and had a delicious lunch, JR had a great time playing with bubbles and of course he looked way too cute!
