Blue is my favorite color!

I found this beautiful blue flowered china at a thrift store right before Christmas- couldn't resist it- I really only buy what I need for the tablescapes- I don't do big dinners anymore now that the kiddos are moved out- just not enough room for all of us here anymore. Tablescaping is my way of having "company" now! I found the hurricane type candleholders 80% off today at Michael's- don't tell anyone they are for Christmas! The runner is just a length of fabric I found at a thrift store. The silver coffee pot I found at SA for $2.99 and the new addition is the silverware- I bought off ebay, including the silver box for $18.00 plus shipping- I did a little research and the pattern is Oneida 1921 Grosvenor- cool, huh? I am delighted with it. Hope you enjoy the tablescape- I love it! Check out some really beautiful tablescapes at www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com for "Tablescape Thursday"! So much fun!

I am a young fifty something Grandma. (I was excited to become a "Nana" before I turned 50 and I barely made it!) I am the wife of Grampy for nearly 34 years and the proud Mom of 3- 2 girls and a boy (in that order!)All my kids are grown now and I am on to my next adventure of Grandmahood. I am also a Catholic convert, having been baptized on Dec. 3, 2003 and confirmed with my husband and son at the Easter Vigil 2004. My youngest daughter also converted in 2007 and was married in the church later that year. My oldest daughter got married on 10/10/10. My little JR was born November 13, 2008 and weighed in at 8 lbs 6 oz and was 21 1/4 inches long! He is precious and a blessing! I became an adopted "Dawn-Dawn" to sweet little SJ (Nov. 9, 2005) when my daughter married his daddy! Our new grand-daughter is due March 21, 2012 Join me as I blog about my blessed life!
