A week before my Granddaughter arrives!!

Well, it is 6 days (well 5.5 now) until my daughter is scheduled for her C-section- Tuesday night she was having a time with some nasty contractions so she kinda freaked out a bit and went to the doctor to make sure they wouldn't want to do the surgery early if she was truly in labor. They sent her home and we just hung out at the house and took a slew of pictures (contractions went away)- my other daughter (Mrs D)came up with SJ since they are on Spring Break from school this week. Little Mama got a new camera for Christmas- I got Miss Mac about 2 weeks ago and Mrs. D bought my old camera (which is just a year old) so we went a bit crazy and had a blast taking pictures. Here for your viewing pleasure are some of the hundreds:

SJ and JR playing fish

they played for quite awhile with the sand and water..

Like Mother like daughter like sister...

Little Mama is READY- not so sure about JR

Grampy and SJ- best buds!

Baby Boy (BB) and his girlfriend JP.

SJ

Little Mama told Steven to make this face, because I had reached my allowed picture quota of him!! NOT!!

The peanuts kept JR busy for quite awhile.

It won't be long and I will be holding my first granddaughter! So unbelievable! We are thanking God and are humbled at all His precious gifts to us- we are so undeserving.

SEA WORLD on Spring Break

My daughter, Mrs. D, decided to take SJ to Sea World and invited Nana to go along. We got up early (about 9 days before Baby day!) and drove to Orlando (about 90 minutes away). We had a wonderful day- after Sea World we headed to our fav Downtown Disney and walked around, had coffee, people watched and ate dinner at the Rainforest Cafe- talk about deliciousness- I was amazed.

Mrs. D bought my old camera (which I bought about a year ago) and this is her first picture taking experience.

I can never resist flamingos!

We didn't ride the Manta this time, but we did last visit and let me tell you it is stinkin' scary!!

SJ's favorite was the Sting Rays.

Sooo cute!

I have a thing for architectural sun shiny pictures.

SJ is a little ham- he was coming up with such cute photo op ideas- a kid after my own heart!

He is a map freak, so he wanted to point the way!

Out and about with Miss Mac

I took Miss Mac (AKA my new Mac Daddy camera) out a few times over the weekend and then finally to JR's today- sorry there are so many of JR, but I had a great time playing with the settings on my camera and he is one of my favorite subjects.

We visited a couple Farmer's Markets in our area

This is a live person acting as a statue- pretty interesting. The "little girl" is a doll- umm, a real doll not a real girl. ;~)

I am trying pretty hard to become vegetarian/veganish and I had this for lunch- funky looking but delicious! Portabella mushrooms and tomatoes with carmelized onions and feta (that I didn't eat) and cole slaw, which I did.

Quite by surprise,we met up with our Nephew and his wife along with our great nephew and great niece.

Her lips got blue from the Italian Ice.

One time our little niece here called my hubs "the Uncle who loves me". Hubs is a real kid whisperer. He loves it!

Now don't laugh too hard, but I took this on my daughter's street, from the car!

and this one too-

JR loves playing with his trucks and trains on the floor.

He was ready to go outside!!

Playing with his water table.

He doesn't have enough toys so he was playing with empty water bottles.

I was practicing really hard to get the background blurred-

Ok, ok, you know you can't stop looking at your grandkids pictures either!

I just happened to snap a pic of his tootsies- couldn't resist!
he was chasing bubbles in this one too, but no bubbles made it in the picture- oh, wait, there is a tiny one- you see it??
What's cooking, Bubba? (that is what I called my son when he was little too!)

I had a lot of fun! This camera is awesome!!! I am so thankful I was able to get it!
