Color of the day? YELLOW!!
Last Thursday, my sister-in-law surprised me with some flowers after Weight Watchers (we go together- awesome program, but that is another blog subject)then I went away for the weekend and when I got back, they looked so pretty, that I knew I had to include them in this week's tablescape. At my thrift store visit today, I just happened to find a yellow lace tablerunner- I had a 50% off coupon, so I got it for $1.42! After I got done with the table- I realized I put the tablerunner on upside down, but I left it- the yellow border looked better- so don't tell anyone!
An aerial view!
I liked my first black and white last week, so now it is a tradition!
As always, be sure and check out all the beautiful tablescape entries for Tablescape Thursday, with our hostess, Susan from Between Naps on the Porch. We have a great time!
Thanks for visiting!
Blessings,

Singing along!
Well, it is Monday- poor Monday, it has such a bad rep! Anyway, I thought I would share today about my weekend (memories of the weekend make Monday a little better!)First of all on Friday, I worked then went to stay with my sister,Tammy, who lives a little over an hour away. We had a great time! She lives in a rural area, but close enough to big city needs like Publix! Friday, we sat on the back porch had some coffee and went on a good little power walk. A few weeks before, my 2 girls, Mrs. D and Little Mama and I also stayed overnight and we had some enchiladas that I made for dinner. Well, lucky us, we had some enchiladas leftover and that means- No cooking! The enchiladas were even better leftover! (I had the leftover leftovers for lunch on Sunday before I left). We also spent some time figuring out our couponing adventure for the next day by checking out the Publix, CVS and Wal-greens ads. Then we watched some TV and managed to stay awake until 2:30 am. Not bad for some young 50-somethings. (Ok, Tammy, I am the something and you are the 50!) We leisurely woke up the next day- I played around with my new camera- and it is pretty cool. When sleepy-head woke up we had coffee and decided we would enhance our eyes by trying out some falsies- (eyelashes!). We looked amazing!

I am baaacckk!! St. Patty's Table
Umm, let's see if I can remember how to do this? Ok, well, Nana is back, but her camera never returned after a trip to VEGAS with the oldest. I guess it wanted to stay with the jet setter! (ha-ha- we just keep forgetting to get it, and it was acting up a bit in Vegas). Sooooo, Nana got a new camera!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had her heart set on one of those fancy-schmancy ones, but then reality set in and she realized that she just needed a good camera to take good Nana pictures and if she actually spent that much money on a camera, someone would probably have died or had to eat beanie weanies for a year or something, so she "settled".
I got a Nikon Cool Pix 120. It has the look of a fancy-schmancy one and it is the same brand as my old one, which was ok for a little point and shoot. This one does a few more things and has 14 MPs which is pretty good. I knew I wanted to get it at Ritz- so I did. Grampy (AKA Mr. Nana) gave me a gift card at the mall for Christmas, so that is what I used for part of it and with Ritz's dealio, they discount it another $75 when you join their club (you have to spend $20 in printing, etc a month- no problem!) so it was several hundred cheaper than the fancy-schmancy one.(Some day, some day!)
So here are a few of my first pictures with my new camera- I played around a lot with different lighting and settings. I think I am going to be pretty happy with it until I can afford the F-S one.
I know St. Patty's Day is over, but... I am still celebrating with this table.
Got the cute little top plates while out thrifting with my sister, Tammy, just for St.Patrick's Day!
My blog's first ever black and white shot!
So glad to be back, I have missed taking pictures of everything, but especially the Tablescaping ones! As always, be sure and visit Between Naps on the Porch where there are many participants in Tablescape Thursday!!!

Wow it has been awhile! Let and Weight Watchers
Hi everyone in blogland (possibly!) I haven't posted for awhile- I generally at least post once a week for Tablescape Thursday, but my daughter took my camera to Vegas and I haven't gotten it back yet! Oh, well, at least my camera got to go to Vegas!!
As I write this, Lent has just begun and I am hoping to have a good one! Ash Wednesday, I went to Mass and got my ashes. Then, my 2 daughters and I went to my sister's for a Girls' Night- we had a really good time! (I felt kinda bad that I had such a good time on Ash Wednesday, but I felt like the Lord would understand getting together with family- just the way the schedule was).
Ash Friday, I went down to our Cathedral and picked up some books that I had ordered for Lent- at the advice of the Spiritual leader of the Magnificat breakfast I went to a few weeks ago, and I read a few pages in each before I went to bed.
I also joined Weight Watchers and have lost 7.4 pounds in 3 weeks. I am very happy! The plan is great and it isn't a diet- I feel like I can stay on this the rest of my life (which I need to). I had Lent in the back of my mind when I began the program- I am not good at giving up stuff, but I knew I had to do something.
