I am baaacckk!! St. Patty's Table

Umm, let's see if I can remember how to do this? Ok, well, Nana is back, but her camera never returned after a trip to VEGAS with the oldest. I guess it wanted to stay with the jet setter! (ha-ha- we just keep forgetting to get it, and it was acting up a bit in Vegas). Sooooo, Nana got a new camera!!!!!!!!!!!!! She had her heart set on one of those fancy-schmancy ones, but then reality set in and she realized that she just needed a good camera to take good Nana pictures and if she actually spent that much money on a camera, someone would probably have died or had to eat beanie weanies for a year or something, so she "settled".

I got a Nikon Cool Pix 120. It has the look of a fancy-schmancy one and it is the same brand as my old one, which was ok for a little point and shoot. This one does a few more things and has 14 MPs which is pretty good. I knew I wanted to get it at Ritz- so I did. Grampy (AKA Mr. Nana) gave me a gift card at the mall for Christmas, so that is what I used for part of it and with Ritz's dealio, they discount it another $75 when you join their club (you have to spend $20 in printing, etc a month- no problem!) so it was several hundred cheaper than the fancy-schmancy one.(Some day, some day!)

So here are a few of my first pictures with my new camera- I played around a lot with different lighting and settings. I think I am going to be pretty happy with it until I can afford the F-S one.

I know St. Patty's Day is over, but... I am still celebrating with this table.

Got the cute little top plates while out thrifting with my sister, Tammy, just for St.Patrick's Day!

My blog's first ever black and white shot!

So glad to be back, I have missed taking pictures of everything, but especially the Tablescaping ones! As always, be sure and visit Between Naps on the Porch where there are many participants in Tablescape Thursday!!!
