Thrifty Fun!
Today I went thrifting- I went to the new Dollar Tree with my sister (lots of great cleaning and decorating items) and then to the Salvation Army (or should I say Our Furniture Store). Again, the SA didn't fail to disappoint- they have the BEST furniture- the guy that is in charge of the furniture says they get truckloads every week, so if I am ever in the market for something, I will definitely go there many times if needed! I am talking beautiful furniture (I think I am a bit picky too.) So today, I found a chair for my bedroom for $2, a candle wall hanging thingy for .99, a cute little white pitcher, 8 matching knives (we were down to 3 of my set! and I really don't care if they match or not), and 2 little green nosegay holders (I guess that is what you call them (I painted them white in the picture). Oh, the skull I found at the Dollar Tree when I went to a different one with my hubby! Here are pics of my treasure hunt!

Nobody is keeping score, but I just wanted you to know that I felt your blog was worthy of honorable mention! I enjoy stopping here, and I'm sure others will too! ~tina
