Just a few fall changes!

(be sure and check Nana's announcement in the blog post above!)

It is that time of the week, to get down the dishes and make yourself a nice little tablescape! What is a tablescape, you ask? Think landscape, just on your table. You got the dishes and the napkins, and you NEVER use them, well maybe at Thanksgiving and Christmas. Get 'em down and use them! What good are they in the cabinet, really? It takes a little bit of work, so in order to get more out of my tablescape, I often do what I did this week and make a few little changes. You can make multiple tablescapes with just a few changes here and there.

I just changed up my last tablescape to include some pumpkins and a cornucopia.

I love these adorable little pumpkins. I got them at Wally World  for about $1 each.

My "traditional" black and white.

I just happened to go to my sister's when she put out a new tablescape. (With flash)

(Without flash).

Here is a rare photo of the Domestic Diva herself (yes, she gets out of the house to look for dishes!)

We drove back down my way and attended a Flea Market at a local (to me) Octoberfest at Our Lady of Lourdes in Dunedin. (Guess what I bought? Yes, a few Johnson Brothers plates for my collection! I use them every day, so I do break one here and there, so I do buy them when there is a good deal involved, which these were $1).

The flea market tent- we made our way to the front of the line to get in! Eagle eye Tammy found me a Shark floor sweeper for $8! I love it!

As always, be sure and check out more tablescapes at Susan's blog, Between Naps on the Porch- I have been participating for 2 years now! Wow!!

Just Call Me N a n a!

Life is good!

My jaw dropped when I saw your brass flatware. I inherited a box full of it. Do you know anything about this flatware? I had always assumed my great-aunt bought it when she was teaching in Korea but apparently not.
