It was a lot of fun designing my Valentine Tablescape! I also did the table by my front door. Be sure and check out the great tablescapes over at www.betweennapsontheporch.blogspot.com
Here is a close up of my little visitor, Cupid.
I made this hurricane candle thingy after seeing it on another blog- sorry I forget which one, but have seen it several times on other blogs since then. I found 12 red candles (a mix of Colonial and Candle Lite) for .25 each at a thrift store last week.
The centerpiece is a candle floating bowl that I put the red filler in with the rose candles.
I love the cherubs! The white ones are from the tree! The gold set I got at a thrift store.
I used gold and red chargers- didn't have all my coffee when I put the plate on top of it here- kinda crooked! My sister gave me the napkins- lacy- when we get more than 4 of anything Tablescape-wise we share! She also found the Ironstone plates (which I just started collecting after seeing them on Bill's (I think?) blog- they are so beautiful and versatile. I also found some gold rimmed ones, so now I have 7 plates- my sister found 2 dessert dishes too, but sadly, they fell off the chair where I had them stacked :~( the heart boxes are from the tree. The glasses were a gift for our convalidation/renewal of vows we had 3 years ago. Here is the cute little heart I bought from Cindy at the Romantic Home- her Etsy shop- it is really cute. This is my Valentine Tree- all of the decorations are from after Christmas sales! I love it!Here is my cabinet with the heart displayed.I found these hurricane candle lamps at Michaels after Christmas for $3 each, candles were after Christmas and the ribbon is again, from my sister. (Mary is always with us, right?)Close up of the conversation hearts- I bought 4 boxes and used 3 in the hurricane lamps. ;~)
