Irish Blessings to you!!

May St. Patrick guard you wherever you go, and guide you in whatever you do and may his loving protection be a blessing to you always.

(Read here about St. Patrick!)

Hello! Well, it is that time of the week again, when we get to celebrate our tablescapes! I am not sure I have any Irish blood in me (hubby does), but being Catholic, I like to celebrate the Saints as much as possible. And isn't everyone Irish on St. Patty's Day?? I have had the St. Patty's Day table up for awhile now and just finally got around to taking pictures today. As it turns out, I used my brand new camera, "Miss Mac" (read about her and see my first pics in the last post). Can I just tell you that taking pictures with her is such a dream! Today, I went to see Little Mama and JR and must have taken 100 pictures just testing out some settings. And TWO WEEKS from today is Little Mama's C-section. Our little granddaughter will be here- unbelievable- seems like Little Mama just found out she was expecting- of course, that is in Nana-time and not pregnant Little Mama time!

Here is our little Irish fiddler- isn't he cute?

and just for fun, here is a close up of the "shamrock vine"

I found a set of these candle holders which I thought were so nice because they held the candle upright so well, and if you turn it over, they hold a tea light too.

Just call me candle freak!

May the good Saints protect you and bless you today, and may troubles ignore you each step of the way.

Here is the place setting. My sister, Tammy and I found the cute little side plates at a thrift store, well everything was found at a thrift store, actually. The green goblets can be used at Christmas and of course the gold flatware can be used for many a table.

May God give you...For every storm a rainbow, for every tear a smile, for every care a promise and a blessing in each trial. For every problem life sends, a faithful friend to share, for every sigh a sweet song and an answer for each prayer.

Just playing with the settings.

May the road rise up to meet you, may the wind be ever at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face and the rain fall softly on your fields. And until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand.

As always, lots o' love to Susan at Between Naps on the Porch for hosting our party every week.

Love,

Just Call Me N a n a!

Love this table - especially in the evening, the glass table top adds a further "glow". Think you're right about everyone being Irish on St. Paddy's Day.
